It's not been a great week for Sarah Palin. Not only did she managed to help lose one of the most important elections in US history, but she ended up being outed as a complete fool with about as much general knowledge as a toddler.

That's right, after receiving a thorough shoeing in the US election earlier this week, proof has emerged that Sarah Palin really is as stupid as Democrats have been claiming for the last six months.

 

One US reporter, Carl Cameron, decided to stick the knife well and truly into Palin's winking eye, revealing to Fox News that the vice-presidential hopeful didn't actually realise during the campaign that Africa was a continent. That's 900 million people written-off because they aren't visible from the governor's mansion in Alaska and aren't members of the NRA.

 

You would have thought that someone who was angling to become the leader of one of the biggest nations on the planet might have at least a basic understanding of geography…

 

But then again, this is America - a country that is being run until January by someone whose seems to have missed more than a couple of biology lessons in the past.
