Living legend Bill Murray's usual facial expression is of resignation and he has never been famous for hiding his emotions or opinions. So when a man bumped into Bill whilst he was walking in Times Square, the actor stopped, fixed those droopy eyes on the offender and waited for the inevitable apology.

Unfortunately, the smaller man was in no mood to apologise and to Bill's annoyance began to walk away. Bad mistake. After a short interchange the pair began to exchange verbal insults before the fists began to fly and they entered a full on brawl, which had to be broken up by police.

 

The un-named man was eventually dragged off the end of Bill's fist and the pair given a stern lecture, with Bill adopting his best 'Aww, shucks' expression. Neither man wished to press charges and police confirmed that no arrests were made and no further action would be taken.

 

Well done Bill. I can't think of many other Hollywood stars who would get into a fist fight in the middle of the street on a matter of principle then walk off without demanding compensation for a bruised ego. Let's hope no-one short changes him in a shop though, or he'll probably be up for arson.
