Celebrities, quite rightly, go out of their way to protect their children from press and paparazzi intrusion. Unless, of course, you're the Spice Girls and you wheel your poor, sniffling offspring on stage to detract from the underperforming nature of your 'reunion' shows.

"I have to say some of those paparazzi shots of my daughter are incredible. As a parent you protect your children, but Suri is a very open and warm child and she'll just wave to people on the street. It's certainly different these days with the media, but people have been very good to us and do give us space, so I am not going to be critical."

A brave stance, but one that ultimately falls to shit when you remember that he seemed happy enough for Suri to recently top a list of Hollywood's 'Ten Hottest Tots'. Just think for a moment about what that title actually implies and then shudder so hard your spine turns to feta.

Maybe Tom needs to take counsel from Michael Jackson (no, not that sort of counsel) and cover his children's heads with blankets. The type of list they risk ending up on are just too terrifying to even contemplate.
