Wife's A Peach

Four months after the well planned Las Vegas wedding, Bob Geldof has finally met Max Drummey, his new son-in-law and husband to his Editor-in-Chief daughter Peaches'. Max is described as a 'musician', but there again so was Bob. We hear they both found lots to talk about - but then again, both are now recognized for knowing Peaches and hanging around with other worthless famous people, so no wonder really.

Bob is famous for attempting to make the population of the richest countries in the world donate their hard-earned cash towards the less fortunate, whilst he adopts the persona of a saint and whines, when all the time his own personal fortune accumulates at a bewildering rate.

They've already met up for a meal in London, for which they were joined by Bono, on what was probably the worst night in the world to be a waiter.

Peaches reckons the pair are such fantastic mates that they may well share Christmas dinner.

"My family want to have a proper Christmas this year. I want to come back to London for it but we are just waiting to see if Max can fit it into his schedule. He has been on tour promoting his new record and he has lots of gigs lined up."

Yes, Max must have an awfully busy schedule what with the touring, song-writing and touring... and erm, song-writing (GYAC Max, no-one goes to gigs on Christmas Day). But never fear moles! The pair are as strong as ever, Peaches claims.

"I am a wife and I love it. Every couple argues, but people spin things out of proportion and say we are divorcing after one argument. I wish people would stop putting their nose into my relationships... I'm married and I am making it work and everyone slagging me off is unnecessary."

Quire right. Don't have a go at poor Peaches because of her relationship. She's clearly very much in love with her husband. And publicity. And ting.
