Good old Amy Winehouse, she's managed to find time in her hectic recording and promotional schedule (hem hem) to thank Louis Walsh for looking after her goddaughter Dionne on a recent visit to the X Factor studios. And what did Amy choose as a gift? A green tie and shamrock cufflinks. Do you see what she did there? Louis is Irish, you see! Shamrocks, green - Irish! Ha!

A source said: "It came nicely wrapped up. Best of all was the handwritten note.

 

"I very much doubt that Amy wrote it herself as at the end of note there was just a scrawling signature in completely different writing.

We're not surprised.

 

Such a thoughtful gift - Amy must have turned her pinhead eyes to the goggle box and been lucid enough to pick up on one of Louis' most obvious characteristics - and then decided to mock it.

 

Maybe Louis could return the favour with a crack pipe brooch and vomit stained bra?
