John Lennon sparked Middle American outrage in 1966 when he claimed that The Beatles were "bigger than God". A new poll of British children under the age of ten has found that God is only the second most famous person in the world. At number 1 is Simon Cowell.
Trailing in Cowell's wake were the Queen, Harry Potter and even Father Christmas.
Interestingly, the poll also looked at the best and worst things you could be.
Being good looking was number 1 in the 'best' list.
Being fat was number 1 in the 'worst' list.
