Akon a crim
Thu, 18/12/2008 - 00:00 by chrisnsThe ungenius behind 'Lonely' (a number 1 in May 2005 and the pack leader in the race for The Worst Song Ever Made In The History Of The World By Humans) pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment relating to the incident. He was fined $250 and has to do 65 hours of community service.
While every artist has the right to control their own stage, in the case of Akon the need for the audience to stop him performing is greater.
Maybe this could start a new reverse trend in music. Whenever anyone approaching the magnitude of awfulness of Akon is doing a gig, there should be a council grant available to people who storm the stage toss the act into the baying crowd.
For the first time in his life (albeit indirectly) Akon might have been the cause of something great.
