The nation has shied away from her latest single, 'Miles Away', reportedly about her split with Guy, and has held its collective nose up and gone: "Poohey! Your music STINKS OF SHIT!"

Yes, 'Miles Away' is officially Madonna's lowest charting song since 1984's 'Borderline' peaking at an unimpressive 39 before dropping out of the chart completely.

 

A source said: "This is a massive blow for Madge. Only reaching 39 in the charts is disastrous for her. Madonna is completely obsessed by her career.

 

"She has a ridiculous level of ambition and will be furious Miles Away has flopped. Apart from her kids, there's nothing else she lives for.

 

"Madonna is worried the divorce has damaged her career. But being second best to her work was always the problem with their relationship."
