Could Amy Winehouse have an addiction more destructive and potentially life threatening than heroin and crack cocaine? Probably not, but according to reports she's addicted to the beyond-awful BBC 1 game show Hole In The Wall presented by the even worse Dale Winton. And that comes a close second.

Yes, the one presented by Dale Winton which sees 'famous' contestants (who are only really famous for going on crap reality programmes that are actually less crap than Hole In The Wall) fit through a hole in a foam partition that moves towards them. And if they don't move into a position that allows them to fit through the hole, they fall into a pool filled with crocodiles which slowly pull them apart limb from limb... (that doesn't actually happen but  if it did it might make the programme more watchable).

 

And if that dosn't sound horrific enough, all the contestants wear hideous skin-tight foil body suits which don't leave anything to the imagination.

 

And according to reports Amy wants to be a part of the show.

 

A source told The Sun: "Amy is addicted to Hole In The Wall. She reckons it's the greatest TV show she's seen in years. She thinks the show is an absolute hoot and has asked producers if she can star in an upcoming episode."

 

But if she makes it on she'll drown in the pool in less than five minutes.

 

"They're giving it some thought but are understandably in two minds as to whether a junkie, wrapped in silver, jumping through holes will go down well with the prime-time viewing public."

 

Sounds like TV gold to us.
