After our revelations in last week's mailout about Pete Doherty's arm exploding after it didn't take kindly to our hero pumping all sorts of bad things into it, it turns out that the problem is so bad that he has had to pull out of a series of gigs.

According to the NME, a spokesperson from London's Rhythm Factory said that Pete called the venue on Saturday night "at the 11th hour - just before he was due on" to say he wouldn't make it because of an "arm injury".

 

Which is a bit like Daniella Westbrook used to have a bit of a snivelly nose.

 

But fortunately for the legions of Doherty fans (who are no doubt covered in legions themselves) and Pete's new girlfriend - pictured above and here - how does he do it?) Pete has rescheduled the gigs for Jan 8, 9, 10, probably having spent an unsalubrious new year injecting lots more 'medication' in his arm to make it better.
