Naturally Miley meant no offence by pulling the face (and probably mouthing 'plawn clackers') as the photo was taken. To ensure that her reputation remains unsullied she has issued a full and frank apology over the issue. Not really. This is the press release equivalent of Krusty the Klown's 'Me So Solly' routine.
"I've also been told there are some people upset about some pictures taken of me with friends making goofy faces! Well, I'm sorry if those people looked at those pics and took them wrong and out of context! In NO way was I making fun of any ethnicity!"
No, it's just sheer co-incidence that there was one Asian man looking frankly mystified and six other people making what appear to be making fun of his ethnicity. It happens all the time. Miley reckons that the press are making her out to be the villain of this piece and blowing it out of all proportion.
"I definitely feel like the press is trying to make me out as the new 'BAD GIRL!' I feel like now that Britney [Spears] is back on top of her game again, they need someone to pick on! Lucky me!"
Yes, it was the press that forced her index fingers to pull at the corner of her eyes (whilst making her idiotic friends do the same thing at the same time). It was clearly a Sting operation by the media who must have planted a Chinese bloke in the pictures and hoped that she and her bovine pals would seek the lowest common denominator of humour.
How brilliant is she though, to make herself the victim of the piece in what should be a full and frank apology?
If she'd just come out and said ' I'm 16, fairly stupid and my friends are even more vacuous than I' maybe we would all have had more respect for her. Not much more admittedly. She's horrible.
