Another day, another apology from Miley Cyrus over the picture where she and her half-wit chums were snapped pulling their eyes into a slant as there happened to be an Asian youth in the room. Miley has already unsuccessfully attempted a half-arsed apology  and now she's pulled out all the stops, swallowed her pride and issued a three-quarter-arsed apology via her website.

"I want to thank all of my fans for their support not only this week, but always! I really wanted to stress how sorry I am if the photo of me with my friends offended anyone."

 

Or, 'here's an apology as you're all so touchy and easily offended, and it wasn't my fault because I'm Miley Cyrus'. Truly heartfelt and incredible that she can't even apologise properly after two attempts. Will this be enough to satisfy the Disney corporation and the millions of fundamentalist Christians in the US? No. That's why she gave God (sorry GOD) a name-check in the next segment.

 

"I have learned a valuable lesson from this and know that sometime my actions can be unintentionally hurtful. I know everything is a part of GODs ultimate plan, and mistakes happen so that eventually I will become the woman he aspires me to be."

 

Presumably the valuable lesson she has learned is not to pull racist faces when there's someone with a camera and internet access about. If this is all part of GODs ultimate plan then could He possibly have a tinker with Zimbabwe and Palestine if he's got that much time on His hands?

 

Unless Miley is right and she is actually not only the centre of the Universe but also GODs personal envoy on Earth? Take That Pope Benedict - all those years in a seminary and the Chosen One is a 16 year-old brat whose dad sports a mullet.
