Kate Beckinsale gets a Pot Noodle named after her. Christ!

This whole 'Hollywood Star Just Trying To Be Normal' thing has reached a new low. First off there's Kate Winslet's skin-crawling attempts to appear as "just a normal girl amid all the Hollywood madness". Then there was Halle Berry 'spotted' by paparazzi eating a burger in a normal burger bar after her Oscar win a few years ago.

Now Kate Beckinsale has joined the 'normals' by announcing at Elton John's post-Oscar party that, "I am hoping for a Pot Noodle and a cup of tea!"

But it gets worse as Pot Noodle is planning to 'honour' this moment by creating a flavour of the inedible snack called Steak & BeckinsALE. Do you see what they did there? Do you? It's like Steak & Ale but, instead of Ale, it's BeckinsALE. Do you see? Do you?

What a load of noodle piss.
