Achy Breaky Heart?

The irony. Years after mulleted half-wit Billy Ray Cyrus almost wiped out the world's supply of hope with his song 'Achy Breaky Heart', his ever-smiling daughter Miley has revealed that she suffers from a heart condition and it is occasionally 'achy' but hopefully not 'breaky'.

The shock-horror-gasp revelation was something that she could have revealed years ago, but she instead decided to keep her condition under wraps until the publication of 'Miles To Go', her first autobiography. At the age of 16. Well, she had to keep at one interesting thing secret, as she's hardly going to discuss her favourite doll or her first period (though you wouldn't put it past her).

Poor publicity-hungry Miley suffers from tachycardia (not to be confused with tacky career-ia) which many people thought was a device fitted to a lorry to stop drivers speeding, driving for seventeen hours at a time and killing any hitch-hikers they picked up. It means that the singer's resting heart rate is higher than the normal range. Tissues at the ready (for the tears, you fools).

"The type of tachycardia I have isn't dangerous. It won't hurt me, but it does bother me."

The fact it isn't dangerous is something that is bothering me. Still, you have to admit that the news is a surprise. Who'd have thought that this grinning, plastic little buffoon actually had a heart?
