Congratulations to Nick Cannon, the man who is forced to share a bed and a bank account with Mariah Carey. Recently he was announced as the new host of 'America's Got Talent', largely because of his expertise within the television industry and the fact that he's married to Mariah Carey.

Now Nick, who describes himself as a 'rapper/actor' (though fails to use the word 'gold-digger' on his CV) has landed yet another new job, this time as the Chairman of Nickelodeon's new network TEENick. Nick will be able to bring a lot to the position, namely his experience of the company (having made his TV debut on the network), his excellent networking skills and his ability to say 'I'm married to Mariah Carey, you know!'

 

The day after he married Mariah he had a grin bigger than The Joker, so one can only imagine how he fits his gob through doors these days. His surfboard-sized mouth managed to form the words,

 

"I started my career here at Nickelodeon and am so excited to be back, serving as an integral part of TEENick as the in-house voice and representative for teens everywhere. TEENick is their network and I am here to make sure this is an ultimate destination for and about them."

 

Fair play to Nick. He could just sit at home all day eating swan balls and panda scrotum sandwiches, but he's keeping it real and still working his fingers to the bone. And in exactly the same jobs he'd be doing if he'd never met his rich and powerful wife.
