Nowadays, it's usually enough for a film to star Will Ferrell. Plot, dialogue, humour… it's all pretty much irrelevant when you've got that key element in the mix.

Occasionally this turns out to be a formula for success, and you end up with a movie like 'Elf' or [this is where a second good Will Ferrell film would be]. But more often than not, you get 'Semi-Pro'. Or 'Stranger than Fiction'. Or 'Kicking & Screaming'. Or 'Bewitched'.

'Step Brothers' isn't as bad as that lot but like almost every other comedy film of the last three years, it's basically just an hour and a half of mostly-improvised swearing and gay-jokes.

Extras: Every unused take from the entire shoot.

'INTERESTING' FACT: Of the movie's four lead actors, only Will Ferrell has yet to be Oscar nominated. Surely it's only a matter of time.
