Hancock on DVD

Film: As far as the 'bad boy superhero' genre goes, someone at some point seems to have decided that 'Hellboy' was going to rule the roost. Which is a shame, because 'Hancock' is about a hundred times less pretentious and annoying than that haughty crab.

Then again, at least 'Hellboy' is pretty shit throughout, whereas 'Hancock 'takes such a steep drop in quality after its opening 60 minutes that you might want to trim about an inch of the outside of your DVD in the hope that it'll save you the pain of the last half hour.

Extras: Some featurettes and a digital copy of the movie that you can play on your 'portable entertainment system', if you like that sort of thing
