Religulous - Out April 3

The last few years have been a good time to be atheist. Secular gods Christopher Hitchens ('God is Not Great') and Richard Dawkins ('The God Delusion') have popularised non-believing to such great lengths that even inanimate forms of public transport have begun to denounce organised religion. The only problem is that, whatever you think of their beliefs, Hitchens and Dawkins themselves are two of the most self-righteous annoying bastards on the planet.

American talk show host Bill Maher isn't much better, but he is incredibly funny, and it's this that makes 'Religulous' so amazingly good.

Directed by Larry Charles wot did 'Borat', this documentary-cum-lecture is the funniest film of 2009 so far, if you can ignore its tendency to preach to the converted.

4 substantial groups of society that won't be seeing this film out of 5

'INTERESTING' FACT: There may or may not be a God. Make your own mind up.
