West's famous Glow in the Dark tour hit the 02 Arena in London last night, where we saw a softer side to the Chicago rapper. No band, no big costume changes, just Kanye on stage supported by his extravagant light show. Oh, and the voice of Jane, his 'spaceship' who guides him and regularly reminds him of his brilliance, telling him he is the "biggest star in the world". You know, just in case he forgot.

While it showed that Kanye has a lot on his mind at the moment, he endeared the audience to him in a way that few other of today's artists could. He spoke frankly about his mother's passing and his struggles with fame, and it seemed that those emotions were fully absorbed into his heartfelt performance. A moving and impressive show from a troubled soul who seems less cocky and arrogant than he has seemed before… that is until Jane comes in, of course.
