Because Katie Price is such an inspiration...

TV editors, if you were finding it difficult to fit 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' into the listings section, stress no more - the show's only remaining Irish contestant, Stacey, has just been booted out. We think it's fair enough to call it BNTM now. Aside from this slight simplification to our life, we were sad to see Stacey go - and naturally it's all Katie Price's fault, like most of the problems in the the world. That's right, the 'entrepreneur' (that's actually what Elle Macpherson called her!) was a guest judge despite having previously made some truly shocking judgements (see list of previous partners). Baffling. Still, at least her nastiness took the pressure off Julian being the resident bitch that week.

Since it was a double eviction, the episode also saw Tanya go because she wasn't happy about getting into a fish tank with sharks - it made her cry. The next task involved crying for the camera. By some cruel twist of fate, her crying just wasn't up to scratch then :***(

HM: Stacey, it seemed like Katie Price picked on you unfairly, articulately telling you to 'jog on' - did you get that watching the show back?

Stacey: Yeah, I didn't understand because she gave good feedback for the underwater shoot - it was really confusing.

HM: Do you think it was fair that you got eliminated?

Stacey: No, I don't really feel like it was fair because I didn't really understand why I was being sent home. I thought I might find out watching on TV last night, but I still didn't. I feel I've had good pictures every week...

HM: Plus you had to do the underwater shoot first...

Exactly, the others could watch and learn and gain from experience.

HM: And, Tanya, it seemed like you and Anastasija clashed from the start - was it really that bitchy?

Tanya: It made it quite hard to carry but I just pretended that she wasn't there.

HM: At the start, you said your ideal shoot would be swimming with dolphins, but you ended up in a tank with sharks - a bit different…

Tanya: I literally couldn't do it - I felt the shark and I can't opened my eyes under-water, I really couldn't do it - i'd rather have had a massive tarantula on my face. I'm still proud that I went through all those thousands of girls and got that far though.

HM: Did you think the decision to boot you out was fair?

Tanya: Yeah, if it had been any other girl who'd not done the shoot, I'd have expected them to be sent home. I obviously wasn't happy but I thought it was fair.

HM: At least you cried real tears in the crying challenge - Anastasija used an onion!

Tanya: I couldn't believe it - she sat there in front of us all. My tears were real.

HM: So which was your least favourite challenge, Stacey?

Stacey: The nude shoot - I felt like it was edited to make me look too thin.. To be on the show we had to get a doctor's check… There wasn't anything wrong with me.

HM: And favourite...

Stacey: It was so cool to meet Janice for the catwalk challenge - I always see her in the America's Next Top Model.

Tanya: Yeah, the catwalk challenge with Janice, which I won, so that was great!

HM: Anything you'd have done differently?

Stacey: Maybe chop up an onion and made myself cry!

Tanya: I was just myself throughout, so no.

HM: Has it put you off modelling?

Stacey: No, not at all. Over here it's more about beauty queens - curvy with the long hair, so I could never do that, but I'd love to see which agencies would have me.

Tanya: I'm definitely going to carry on - it's made me stronger and more determined not to give up.

HM: Have you been recognised yet?

Stacey: I live on the outside of Belfast and am always out in the mountains, but I got spotted by a really sweet girl on the bus the other day. And then at an Eminem gig in the toilet. It was really weird. Everyone's been really supportive - I'm always in the local papers. People in Ireland always support local people!

Tanya: People in Birmingham look at me and smile but I don't know if they're scared to come up to me - once I open my mouth they're like 'you're that girl from TV!'

HM: Who do you want to win?

Stacey: Jess, purely because she got really put down for her body it took her some strength to continue, and she's been trying her hardest to get the best pictures every week. I think maybe Juste will win because she's had the most experience, she's been signed before and has been the face of Fashion TV and has done Paris and Milan…

Tanya: Jade or Jessica. With Jade she's got such a different look and with Jess, she's showing that bigger girls can do. I don't want Anastisija or Juste to win - fine with anyone else!

HM: Thanks, girls - good luck - and don't let katie Price get you down. Bitch cow.
