Only four left…

Aw, we're genuinely upset about this one and we don't even have Katie Price to blame this time - Jessica Abidde has left the Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model house :(

As you'll have seen in last night's episode (and you really shouldn't be reading this if you didn't - SPOILER!), the Londoner made it through for a second week in Miami only to face a vicious creature with sharp teeth and nasty beady eyes - no, not Julien MacDonald, the alligators in the swamp where the photo shoot took place.

We caught up with her to find out about her time on the show and all that...

HM: Nearly all the other girls we've spoken to so far have said they wanted you to win - was it a big shock to get booted out?

Jessica: Yeah, it was a shock - I felt like I had a lot more to do. I felt I had a lot of potential, especially after winning two challenges in a row, but I knew that the judges would be looking for whoever could produce the best photo at that stage and the competition was so fierce and tight.

HM: If you ask us, which no one is, it seems quite biased - the photographer took loads of pictures of you and then chose his favourite, which the judges didn't like…

J: That's one thing I've been thinking about… Watching the episode, I remembered the photographer looking through all the photos and saying there was a lot there - I didn't even hate the shot that got me eliminated but I imagine there were better - I hope there were better. I wish I'd been able to look through and pick one myself…

HM: Still you got to go to Miami...

J: It was just the best - I was giddy the whole way through. The moment we landed, getting picked up in the vintage cars and the hotel - one thing after another - it just got better.

HM: It seemed much less bitchy there...

J: The atmosphere was much better, it was nice to just chill out - we all knew what we were fighting for and we all knew what we had to do so there was no hostility.

HM: So which was your favourite shoot or challenge?

J: One of my favourites was the falconry shoot in Ireland - how many people get to hold a falcon and get shot by a photograph who's shot the Rolling Stones?! I can't get over how great it was.

HM: And worst…

J: I wouldn't say it was my worst because of the experience, but my worst picture was the tea party shot - I don't know what I was thinking.

HM: It was definitely a learning curve with you; whereas some of the other girls had ups and downs, you just seemed to get better...

J: That's nice - it definitely was. It's a bad trait, but I never look at what I've done, I always look at what I HAVE to do. So, I never consider how good I've been, I'll always consider how much more I have to do. If I was consistent I'd be happy, but I'd like to have improved.

HM: Did you manage not to cry when the judges were laying into you?

J: Well, I'm my own worst critic - I do shoot myself down a hell of the lot, but the way the judges would talk to me and the criticism they would give were all very positive. Julian was the judge I was most worried about because I remembered him saying in a previous series there was no room for big girls on the runway and all that, so I thought it would be a tough job impressing him, so to have him compliment me was amazing - especially when he said I'd changed the way he thought about women.

HM: Did you have a favourite judge?

J: I'd say all of them put together because they all bought something so different to the panel.

HM: Very diplomatic. Which girl were you the saddest to see go?

J: I was gutted to see Ufuoma go - I wasn't sure about her when we first met because she's so forthright and I'm the opposite of that, but getting to know her in the house was so great and she always made me laugh. And Amy too - she worked herself up so much every week and I just wanted her to relax, she's got this amazing amazing face - I just couldn't stop staring at her and I wanted her to do really well.

HM: Did eliminations get easier?

J: I hoped they would - I had about three bottles of the Bachs Rescue Remedy, so I was on that every elimination.

HM: Vodka might've been better... Has it put you off modelling?

J: Immediately after I was eliminated I thought 'that's it', but having thought about it I'll definitely continue - the response I've had since has been so warm and I love modelling too much not to continue.

HM: Your nude pic ended up everywhere - is it weird?

J: No, I'm not too embarrassed - I've done a bit life modelling so it wasn't too weird. I have had really big confidence issues but in the last few years that's really improved - someone came up to me at a bus stop and said 'OMG, you're from BNTM' and mimicked the pose from the nude shoot [above] - so I've got the nude salute going on!

HM: Have you been recognised much?

J: Yeah, it's strange because I never think I'm that striking or memorable. I'm a BNTM addict and I've always previously been on the forums so it's strange now having a look and they're talking about ME. I'm just a silent lurker. Then I feel bad about something someone has said so will leave.

HM: Who do you want to win?

J: Juste - definitely, she's so beautiful inside and out, she hasn't had the best press, but knowing her in the house and keeping in touch with her outside, I really hope she can win.

HM: Cheers, Jess - we love you, good luck!
