'They are quite funny'

TOWIE's Amy Childs and Harry Derbidge have a new show called The Simpleton Life, in which they both attempt to do the kind of normal, everyday jobs that TOWIE viewers do, such as serving in a pizza restaurant, deep sea fishing and working in a coal mine. It'll be a real look at modern day Britain and how even the hardest jobs can be a lot of fun when you think France is the capital of Birmingham.

The new show is going to be funny because neither Amy nor Harry are able to perform the even the simplest tasks without becoming deeply confused. Insiders have told us the pair were the best choice for the programme after the RSPCA ruled out using monkeys because it was too cruel. A source had this to say:

"The show will be just like The Simple Life but, dare I say it, even more ridiculous.

"Amy and Harry are not exactly known for their ability to do everyday tasks so it's a car crash waiting to happen.

"In fairness, they are quite funny as a duo and bosses are hoping their daft chemistry will keep people entertained."

Not exactly the most confident statement we've ever heard about an upcoming show; 'They're thick, but funny thick'.

Sounds good to us, though.
