So GLAAD
Thu, 19/01/2012 - 15:10 by John Hill

The GLAAD Media Awards are given out by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation to 'recognise and honour various branches of the media for their outstanding representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives'.

Naturally, Holy Moly was nominated for exactly zero awards again this year, because apparently making jokes about homosexual celebrities counts as xenophobic hate-mongering, rather than the light hearted hate-mongering we'd always considered it to be.

Also, before you look at the list of nominees for this year's it's worth taking a sneeky peeky at the actual award statuette itself. We've now renamed it the Batman Award for obvious reasons.
