But is she single? That’s the important thing, eh?

We can’t put our finger on it (quiet at the back!) but something about the cover of this week’s Radio Times makes us feel strangely compelled to actually buy it. This odd compulsion comes on exactly the same day we’ve learned that Karen Gillan may be single, having possibly broken up with her boyfriend of six years, Patrick Green. *straightens tie*

So the gossip is that during Karen’s interview with the aforementioned telly listings mag, she was asked some rubbish question about whether her relationship with Patrick was similar to the on screen relationship between model Jean Shrimpton and photographer David Bailey (as if it would be) in the upcoming drama, We’ll Take Manhattan.

Pond replied: “We never really did any of that”.

That’s it. One past tense word and it's as if Kelly Brook had joined match.com.

We hope they haven’t broken up because breakups are sad and make you do weird things to your hair. And it's not as if she was suddenly going to go out with us, is it? No matter how many times we sleep in the hedge outside her house.
