Because we are now best friends with Wretch 32, he asked us along to his #wretch32invasion for Channel 4 last night. It's all about hashtags these days, we even talk about #ScarlettJohanssonNaked and #TheDarkKnightRises at HM HQ.

So there we were, hanging out with Kirk Norcross and Fatboy from EastEnders in the VIP area watching Lord Wretchington as we call him, but not to his face, when a bloke ran on stage, interupting the performance to talk to someone in the crowd. After blathering on for a couple of minutes about love or some nonsense, a security guard hauled him off stage to cheers from the crowd.

It turns out the crowd had been fooled. The whole thing had been engineered as a scene for an unpcoming Hollyoaks episode, where Bart McQueen declares his love to his old girlfriend Sinead O'Connor (no, not that one), who has moved onto someone else.

When Wretch 32 explained it all to the bemused audience, Fatboy exclaimed: "They'll kill me if I'm on Hollyoaks!"
