It's awards season again and when covering events such as these, we think its important not to jump at the first invite offered.  However when Melvin Bragg himself, called up the HMTV hotline and invited us along to his awards show, THe SHow Bank Awards, we couldnt turn him down.

Of course Matt uses his time well, asks all the important questions as well as Michael Sheen being on hand to show us how Joaquin Phoenix isnt the only one whos down with the Hip Hop generation.  He beatboxes the theme to Dallas...

 

Ben Kingsley shows appreciation for Neil Buchanan's work and Sophie Ellis Bextor enlightens us to what she can do with her tongue!  Her hubby is a lucky man. 

 

Razorlight were there as well but only took the time to pose for photos, not even a hello.  It seems the constant 'misunderstood' genius of Borrell is really getting him down.
